Appetide is intended for people age 18 or older in Brazil, the United States, and Latin American countries where the service is available.
Fields in brackets are operational placeholders and must be confirmed before demo mode is removed.
2. Data we may process
We process only the information needed to operate, protect, and improve the service.
- Account data: name, email, identifiers, and language.
- Content you submit: meal photos, descriptions, transcribed voice, confirmed foods, symptoms, water, goals, preferences, allergies, and restrictions.
- Technical data: IP address, device, browser, language, security, and performance events.
- Support communications, consent choices, and campaign identifiers where allowed.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
We use data to provide requested features, personalize the experience, secure accounts, support users, comply with law, and measure campaigns only when consent is required. Grounds may include contract, consent, legal obligations, vital interests, fraud prevention, and assessed legitimate interests.
- We do not sell medication or issue prescriptions.
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not make automated clinical decisions.
4. Providers and transfers
We may use Supabase, Vercel, and [confirmed future providers] for cloud infrastructure, authentication, hosting, security, and support. Data may be processed in Brazil, the United States, or other contracted regions with appropriate safeguards.
- We do not send meal photos, logs, or symptoms to advertising networks.
- Optional analytics and pixels remain off until required consent is provided.
5. Retention and security
We retain data while your account is active or as needed for stated purposes and legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it. We use access controls, encryption in transit, logging, and backups, though no system is completely secure.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, portability, disclosure, opt-out, restriction, deletion, consent withdrawal, or appeal after identity verification. We do not discriminate for exercising privacy rights.
